The American Political Science Association (APSA) announce a Call for Applications from early-career scholars based in the Arab MENA region who are interested in attending the 2025 ICPSR Summer Program in Quantitative Methods of Social Research. APSA, in collaboration with the Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR), will support up to three Arab MENA scholars to attend the General Session training program at the University of Michigan.
For summer 2025, the ICPSR Summer Program will offer rigorous instruction in statistics, quantitative methods, and data analysis in an in-person program designed to maximize learning and engagement. The Institute will offer two General Sessions: the First Session will take place from June 9-July 3, 2025 and the Second Session from July 7-August 1, 2025. Classes will be offered in-person (on the University of Michigan campus in Ann Arbor) and online. All participants will have extended online access to lecture recordings and course materials after each session has ended. As in previous years, the 2025 Program will feature a broad curriculum ranging from introductory to advanced courses in a variety of methods and techniques. The Summer Program’s instructional staff will also be available for individual consultation with participants before and during the General Sessions.
The 2025 detailed schedule and courses will be posted by early February. Prospective applicants can check the 2024 courses but expect some changes to content, times, and instructors. Registration for all courses will open in early February 2025.
