Meta is looking for a Policy Programs Manager to cover Africa, Middle East, and Türkiye for a 14-month contract. As part of Meta’s AMET Public Policy organization, the Policy Programs team designs and executes regional campaigns and programs, leveraging Meta’s platforms to promote positive social, economic, and cultural outcomes and support a conducive policy environment for the digital economy.
As a Policy Programs Manager, you will be responsible for designing and executing regional programs that leverage the extraordinary reach of Meta’s platforms to promote positive social, economic, and cultural outcomes, while supporting an enabling policy environment for the digital economy. Meta are seeking a candidate to launch and manage integrity programs across Africa, the Middle East, and Türkiye, with responsibility for leading Türkiye’s programs strategy and driving innovation initiatives. This role entails collaboration with research centers, innovation organizations, developers, and creators. You will also lead programs and campaigns addressing integrity-related topics such as content integrity, fraud and scams. You must have an understanding of the policy challenges that an organisation such as Meta faces in the region, a passion for community building and future technology, and an ability to execute and thrive in a fast-paced, impact oriented, work environment.
