The Gender Equity/GBV Evidence Accelerator Fellowship is designed for professionals, practitioners, and scholars focused on gender equity and gender-based violence (GBV), particularly in low- and middle-income settings. It aims to strengthen participants’ capabilities in evidence generation, synthesis, analysis, and translation to improve gender equity and GBV-related outcomes.

  • Mentorship from Johns Hopkins faculty at the Center for Global Women’s Health and Gender Equity (CGWHGE).
  • Coursework through the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health (BSPH).
  • Opportunities for professional networking and development via virtual activities and one in-person cohort gathering.
  • Hands-on project support, including secondary data analysis or evidence synthesis.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Must live and work in a low- or middle-income country.
  • Engage in the gender/GBV field professionally or academically (e.g., PhD students, postdocs, or junior faculty).
  • Have research experience or familiarity with monitoring and evaluation, and statistical software such as STATA or R.
  • Current Master’s students are not eligible.
