Are you a young Tunisian eager to advocate for disability rights and inclusive social policies? The Youth Leadership Initiative on Disability Rights and Inclusive Social Protection offers you the chance to lead, learn, and make an impact at both the national and global levels.
About the Initiative
This program is part of UNICEF’s Global Youth Leadership Initiative, aiming to empower youth as advocates for disability rights and inclusive social protection policies. Participants will undergo extensive training, gain exposure to global advocacy networks, and work collaboratively to promote equality and accessibility.

Who Can Apply?
UNICEF Tunisia is looking for 5 motivated young Tunisians who:
- Are 16 to 24 years old (exceptions for exceptional young leaders may apply).
- Have a good command of English (all training will be in English).
- Are committed to advocacy, particularly in disability rights or social protection.
- Have experience in civil society, volunteer work, or active citizenship.
- Show sensitivity and interest in disability-related issues (personal lived experience or prior engagement is a plus).
Program Timeline
- Application Deadline: January 19, 2025 (23:59 CET)
- Notification of Selected Candidates: January 26, 2025
- Online Training: February–March 2025
- Final Project Submission: April 2025 and beyond
