The Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme (TEEP) is a flagship initiative of the Tony Elumelu Foundation aimed at empowering African entrepreneurs. It offers $5,000 seed capital, mentorship, business management training, and access to an extensive network of entrepreneurs.
This program is open to all African entrepreneurs with innovative business ideas or early-stage businesses (0–5 years old).

Eligibility Criteria
General Requirements:
- Must be a citizen or legal resident of any African country.
- The business must be registered and operating in Africa.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Only one business per applicant is allowed.
Business Requirements:
- The business must be an idea or early-stage (0–5 years old).
- Unethical, illegal, or excluded businesses (e.g., faith-based organizations or research institutions) will not qualify.
- Applications involving TEF employees, affiliates, or alumni are ineligible.
Application Process
- Submit Online Application:
- Complete the application form on the TEFConnect platform.
- Answer all mandatory questions accurately.
- Receive Confirmation:
- Upon submission, you will receive a confirmation email.
- Language Options:
- Applications are available in English, French, Portuguese, and Arabic.
- No Fees Required:
- Applying to the program is completely free.

- Only one partner from a business partnership may apply.
- TEF reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or inaccurate applications.
