Contributions can cover various themes, including but not limited to:
- Civic Space and Freedom of Assembly: Exploring the role of peaceful assembly in fostering engagement.
- Democracy and Justice Activism: Examining democratic reforms and accountability mechanisms.
- Activism in Exile: Highlighting challenges and strategies of activists in exile.
- Gender and Sexuality Activism: Addressing gender equality and LGBTQI+ rights in the MENA region.
- Social Movements: Evolution and impact of grassroots mobilizations.
- Artivism: Role of art in inspiring transformative social change.
- Digital Activism: Opportunities and risks in online civic engagement.
- Civil Rights Activism: Efforts to protect freedoms amidst repression.
Contribution Guidelines
- Language: Arabic or English
- Length: 1,700 to 2,500 words
- Submission Process:
- Submit a 300-word pitch summarizing your proposed topic and perspective.
