The Summer SCENE 2025 is a fully funded, two-week online summer school program hosted by the Smith School of Enterprise and the Environment, University of Oxford. This immersive program, running from 7 July to 18 July 2025, focuses on sustainability, climate change, and environmental education, with a special emphasis on shaping sustainability policies for the Global South.
Participants will engage in live webinars, interactive sessions, and group projects to develop actionable policy recommendations, which will be published and presented to global leaders.

Eligibility Criteria
The course is open to 50 graduate students and early-career professionals from the Global South who:
- Are passionate about sustainability and policy development.
- Are working in or transitioning to careers in sustainability policy development.
- Have diverse backgrounds and skills, with a commitment to becoming future leaders in sustainability.
Program Details
- Dates: 7–11 July 2025 and 14–18 July 2025 (Monday to Friday).
- Time: 11:00–13:00 BST and 14:00–16:00 BST.
- Location: Online.
- Format: Includes lectures, guest speaker sessions, and collaborative group projects.
