Greenpeace MENA is seeking a Branding and Communications Manager to enhance its public image, reputation, and brand presence across the region. This role involves developing and implementing branding, communications, and marketing strategies, engaging influencers, and ensuring cohesive organizational branding.
Key Responsibilities
Branding, Communications & Marketing Strategy
- Develop and implement branding and communication strategies aligned with Greenpeace MENA’s mission.
- Strengthen Greenpeace’s brand identity and visibility through targeted campaigns.
- Utilize storytelling techniques to communicate Greenpeace’s impact effectively.
- Ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.
- Enhance the Executive Director’s public profile in environmental advocacy.
Influencer Marketing & Brand Ambassadorship
- Develop strategies for engaging influencers to amplify Greenpeace’s campaigns.
- Manage influencer outreach and partnerships, ensuring alignment with branding objectives.
- Oversee branding at events and collaborations with partners.
Message Development & Narrative Building
- Create and refine key messages for campaigns, public engagements, and stakeholders.
- Ensure messaging is culturally sensitive and tailored for diverse audiences.
- Oversee the creation of brand-aligned content, including reports, newsletters, and campaigns.
Market & Audience Research
- Conduct audience and market research to track brand perception and emerging trends.
- Provide data-driven insights to improve branding and engagement strategies.
Crisis Communications & Internal Communications
- Support crisis communication planning to mitigate reputational risks.
- Develop internal communication plans to keep staff informed and engaged.
Monitoring, Evaluation & Budget Management
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for branding and marketing initiatives.
- Monitor campaign success and report progress.
- Manage the branding budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness.
Who We’re Looking For
Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate or postgraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Seven to ten years of experience in branding, communications, or marketing, preferably in a non-profit setting.
- Proven expertise in influencer marketing and strategic brand management.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Arabic.
- Knowledge of market research methods and public relations strategies in the MENA region.
