Reuters is seeking a skilled financial journalist to cover sovereign wealth funds and investment stories across the Gulf region. The role is based in Dubai and involves breaking exclusive news, cultivating high-level sources, and reporting on key business and financial trends in the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Report on sovereign wealth funds and investment trends in the Gulf.
- Build and maintain sources within financial institutions, government entities, and advisory firms.
- Deliver exclusive, well-researched, and insightful stories.
- Collaborate with Reuters’ global team and cover breaking news.
- Travel as needed and work outside regular hours when required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of three years of relevant reporting experience.
- Strong news judgment and ability to break exclusive stories.
- Proven experience in financial and business journalism, preferably in the Gulf.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with sources in the finance sector.
- Arabic language skills are a plus but not mandatory.
