The Afrika Kommt! Fellowship Program is a fully funded initiative in Germany aimed at young African professionals seeking to develop their leadership skills, gain global exposure, and contribute to social and economic progress in their home countries. The program, conducted in partnership with German businesses, lasts for one year and includes structured training in three phases.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a citizen of an African country.
- Hold a university degree (postgraduate qualifications like an MBA are a plus).
- Have 2–5 years of work experience in a relevant field.
- Strong English language proficiency (basic German is beneficial but not required).
- Must be 35 years old or younger.
Benefits:
- Fully covered accommodation and monthly stipend (€10,800 annually).
- Round-trip airfare to and from Germany.
- Visa sponsorship for one year.
- Health, liability, and accident insurance.
- Internship stipend (~€1,500 per month) during company placement.
- One-time relocation allowance (€1,000) for reintegration into the home country.
