The I AM Nala Fellowship is designed for young African women who are refugees, internally displaced persons, or stateless individuals. It focuses on capacity building, mentorship, solidarity, and access to resources for young women political leaders engaged in peacebuilding, negotiations, and decision-making processes in their home or host countries.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must be:
✔ Young women aged 18-40 years
✔ Leaders of a campaign or women’s group
✔ Members of a collective focused on alliance building
✔ Engaged in cross-conflict negotiations
✔ Politicians holding or aspiring to political office
Applicants should align with the Nala Feminist Collective’s core values:

Eligible Countries
Applicants must be from: Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, DRC, Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda.
