Programme: Fellowship Programme for People of African Descent

This annual fellowship provides intensive training in international human rights law, the UN human rights system, and anti-racism frameworks. It is intended for individuals of African descent from the diaspora who are actively engaged in promoting the rights of people of African descent
Objectives:
- Deepen understanding of international human rights and anti-discrimination mechanisms.
- Gain exposure to UN systems and build advocacy skills.
- Strengthen participants’ ability to influence national policies and collaborate with civil society.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be of African descent living in the diaspora.
- Minimum four years of work experience in relevant human rights areas.
- Endorsement letter from an organization working on minority or African descent issues.
- Availability for the full programme duration.
Support Provided:
- Return economy airfare to Geneva
- Basic health insurance
- Stipend for accommodation and living expenses
