Eligibility: Feminists from the MENA region
Theme:
Exploring the increasing influence of anti-rights and anti-feminist movements in the MENA region, with a focus on:
- Conservative, right-wing, and extremist forces impacting gender justice
- State and non-state propaganda/media campaigns spreading anti-feminist rhetoric
- Economic drivers like neoliberal policies and patriarchal labor systems
- Shrinking civic spaces and backlash against women’s and queer rights activism
- Colonial legacies influencing political and economic systems
- Intersectionality of anti-rights movements impacting marginalized communities
Submission Details:
- Languages: Arabic, English, or French
- Length: 800 words (+/- 25%)
- Deadline for Topic Proposal: May 22, 2025

- Final Article Deadlines:
- 1st Round: June 8, 2025
- 2nd Round: June 15, 2025
Honorarium:
- $300 for each published article
