What the Fellowship Offers
- Paid work placement at a top African human rights organization focused on gender justice and strategic litigation
- Mentorship from WJW’s Fellowship Head and host supervisors
- Training: At least one in-person convening and regular online sessions with leading human rights experts
- Networking opportunities with activists, lawyers, judges, and scholars, including participation in events like the Obama Foundation’s Girls Opportunity Alliance
- Alumni network access for ongoing support and collaboration
Expectations
Fellows are expected to:
- Commit to their placement and training
- Engage actively with the Fellowship community
- Contribute to the advancement of gender justice through legal advocacy
