Overview

The Cosmic Girls Foundation, in partnership with UNOOSA, is offering an exceptional opportunity for girls aged 14–19 from around the world to participate in advanced astronaut training — and for one finalist, a chance to travel to space.

This initiative is part of UNOOSA’s Space4Women programme, which works to promote gender equality and ensure that women and girls have equal access to opportunities in the space sector.


Eligibility

  • Girls aged between 14 and 19
  • Applicants must demonstrate a strong interest in space and STEM fields
  • One finalist will be selected from each continent

What Finalists Will Receive

  • World-class astronaut training
  • Zero-gravity flight experience
  • Human centrifuge sessions
  • Global media exposure

Grand Prize

  • One finalist aged 18 or older will be selected for a suborbital spaceflight

Purpose

This programme aims to inspire and equip the next generation of women leaders in space and STEM by offering hands-on training, global recognition, and professional development.
