The World Bank Government Analytics Fellowship is a fully funded program designed to strengthen public administration by enabling governments to use data more effectively for decision-making. The fellowship combines in-person training in Washington, D.C., hands-on support from senior experts, and guidance based on the Government Analytics Handbook, in collaboration with University College London.
By bridging the gap between underutilized government data and evidence-based policymaking, the program equips participants with advanced knowledge, practical tools, and resources to improve governance efficiency and citizen outcomes.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be able to travel to Washington, D.C. for in-person training.
- Be nominated by their organization (maximum of 2 fellows per organization).
- Be currently employed in central government organizations or agencies.
- Hold a mid-level manager, senior analyst, or equivalent position with authority to lead a government analytics project.
- Have prior tertiary-level coursework in statistics or related quantitative fields.
- Be proficient in English.
Open to applicants from all countries.
Benefits
