
The Swiss Society for African Studies (SGAS/SSEA) and the Association for African Studies in Germany (VAD) will jointly host their biennial conference in Basel, Switzerland, under the theme “African Perspectives on Global Transformations.”
The conference invites scholars from across the world to explore urgent topics such as decolonization, epistemic justice, reparations, climate justice, and planetary health. It aims to highlight how African experiences and knowledge systems contribute to understanding and shaping global change.
