Are you an aspiring journalist looking for an opportunity to report on a global stage? Applications are now open for the IACC Young Journalists Program 2026, a fully funded international opportunity that will bring 10 young journalists from around the world to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, to cover one of the world’s leading anti-corruption events.
The program will take place during the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) 2026, scheduled for 1–4 December 2026. Organized by Transparency International and the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC), the initiative offers participants hands-on reporting experience, networking opportunities, and deeper insights into issues of corruption, governance, transparency, and public accountability.
This is an excellent opportunity for early-career journalists to strengthen their international reporting portfolio while connecting with leading journalists, policymakers, activists, and experts from across the globe.

Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
- Be from any country worldwide.
- Be currently working as a journalist.
- Have previous reporting experience covering social, political, economic, or public interest issues.
- Work in print, digital, television, radio, or multimedia journalism.
- Be under 35 years of age as of 6 December 2026.
- Demonstrate proficiency in English.
- Show a strong interest in anti-corruption, transparency, accountability, and governance reporting.
Participant Responsibilities
Selected journalists will be expected to:
- Attend conference sessions, workshops, and panel discussions.
- Interview international leaders, experts, and anti-corruption advocates.
- Produce and publish at least one story related to the conference.
- Pitch their story to a recognized media outlet after the program.
- Follow the program’s terms of reference and code of conduct throughout their participation.
