Overview:
The Senior Subgrants Associate will support the implementation and management of subgrants in the MENA region, ensuring compliance with donor and organizational policies. Working closely with program, finance teams, and partners, the role involves subgrant administration, financial oversight, and partner support to maintain operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Subgrant Management: Assist with subgrant agreements, amendments, and reporting compliance; maintain accurate records and ensure deadlines are met.
- Financial Oversight: Review budgets, expenditures, and financial reports; support audits and ensure timely disbursements.
- Partner Support: Provide training and consultations for subgrantees; manage due diligence and compliance documentation.
- Coordination: Organize meetings with program teams and partners, and improve subgrant management processes.
- Reporting: Track subgrant progress, analyze data, and ensure accurate and timely submissions.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Business, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in subgrants or a similar role, ideally in an NGO.
- Proficiency in English required; Arabic and/or French preferred.
- Experience in financial management, compliance, and USG-funded programs.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
