HuMENA seeks a passionate Communications Intern to support its advocacy and communications work in Lebanon and the MENA region. This paid role offers hands-on experience in human rights and civic engagement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute communication strategies.
  • Create and manage content for social media, the website, and newsletters.
  • Draft press releases, reports, and advocacy materials in Arabic and English.
  • Monitor and analyze relevant media coverage.
  • Support event, webinar, and campaign planning and promotion.

Qualifications

  • Fluency in Arabic and English (required).
  • Residing in Lebanon or available remotely.
  • Knowledge of the MENA human rights landscape.
  • Interest in human rights and democracy.
  • Background in communications, media, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in social media and digital marketing tools.
  • Strong writing, editing, and creative skills.
  • Adaptability and ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel for meetings or conferences if needed.
