HuMENA seeks a passionate Communications Intern to support its advocacy and communications work in Lebanon and the MENA region. This paid role offers hands-on experience in human rights and civic engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute communication strategies.
- Create and manage content for social media, the website, and newsletters.
- Draft press releases, reports, and advocacy materials in Arabic and English.
- Monitor and analyze relevant media coverage.
- Support event, webinar, and campaign planning and promotion.
Qualifications
- Fluency in Arabic and English (required).
- Residing in Lebanon or available remotely.
- Knowledge of the MENA human rights landscape.
- Interest in human rights and democracy.
- Background in communications, media, or related fields.
- Proficiency in social media and digital marketing tools.
- Strong writing, editing, and creative skills.
- Adaptability and ability to work independently.
- Willingness to travel for meetings or conferences if needed.
