FEMWISE-AFRICA, a flagship initiative of the African Union, is now accepting applications for its 2nd Cohort program. This fully-supported initiative aims to empower African women leaders in conflict prevention, mediation, and peacebuilding across the continent.

FEMWISE-AFRICA was established under the African Union’s Agenda 2063 to enhance women’s roles in fostering peace and security in Africa. This program provides participants with the tools, networks, and training required to contribute to sustainable peace initiatives at grassroots, national, and continental levels.

Participants will benefit from:

  • Conflict Prevention: Strategies and frameworks to identify and prevent conflicts.
  • Mediation Training: Skills for resolving conflicts and facilitating peace processes.
