Deadline: 3 February 2025
The Sudan Blog Series, hosted by the London School of Economics (LSE), aims to fill the gaps in global understanding about Sudan by offering nuanced perspectives on the country’s conflict, political turmoil, and broader societal issues.
While much media coverage has focused narrowly on conflict, the blog series seeks to explore the complexities of Sudan through the voices of Sudanese, the Sudanese diaspora, and others. This initiative is part of an effort to provide a platform for intellectual and academic perspectives on Sudan’s challenges and resilience.

The series welcomes blog submissions on a range of topics, including but not limited to:
- Conflict in Sudan
- Employment and Economic Challenges
- Forced Displacement and Migration
- Gender Issues

- Political Participation
