The Swedish Institute (SI) Global Executive Programme is a fully funded leadership program for senior executives, CEOs, and top corporate managers committed to integrating sustainability into their businesses. The program provides insights into Swedish sustainability models, leadership strategies, and innovative solutions for the green transition.

With 100 business leaders from 24 countries, this program offers a global platform to exchange ideas, network with industry experts, and develop strategic solutions for sustainable business growth.

Who Can Apply?

  • Citizens & residents of the following 24 eligible countries:
    Bangladesh, Brazil, China, Colombia, Côte d’Ivoire, Egypt, Georgia, DR Congo, India, Indonesia, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, Moldova, Morocco, Nigeria, Philippines, Rwanda, South Africa, Tanzania, Thailand, Türkiye, Ukraine, or Vietnam.
    (Ukrainian applicants residing outside Ukraine are also eligible.)
  • Current Position: Must be a CEO, senior executive, or top corporate manager in a medium to large company with decision-making power.
  • Age Requirement: 30+ years old (Born 1995 or earlier).
  • Educational Requirement: Must hold a Bachelor’s degree or higher.
  • English Proficiency: Strong written and spoken English skills.
  • Commitment: Active participation is required in all program components.
  • Business Alignment: Your company should:
  • Be locally owned and based in an eligible country.
  • Operate within industries involved in the green transition, such as renewable energy, sustainable transportation, responsible mining, manufacturing, and infrastructure.
  • Be committed to sustainable business practices.

Program Structure & Components

  • Online Training (May – November 2025)
  • Foundation Phase (May – June): Workshops, coaching, and leadership training.
  • Strategic Business Project (June – October): Participants design and implement a real-world sustainability project for their company.
  • Masterclasses (August – October): Advanced sessions tailored to business needs.
  • Sweden Week (October 13–17): On-site business visits, networking, and field trips in Sweden.
  • Final Sessions (November): Project execution, global networking, and alumni connections.
