Copenhagen Business School (CBS) is offering a fully funded PhD scholarship in Green Transition and Sustainability at the Department of Management, Society, and Communication (MSC). The program focuses on the roles of business, government, consumers, and civil society in sustainability efforts.
Eligibility Criteria
- A Master’s degree in social sciences, completed before the PhD start date.
- Minimum grade of 10 on the Danish 7-point grading scale for the Master’s thesis.
- GPA of at least 8.2 (combined Bachelor’s and Master’s) or 9.5 for Master’s alone.
- Top 40% class standing (if GPA requirement is not met).
- Strong proficiency in academic English.
Program Details
- Start Date: 1 September 2025
- Duration: 3 years
- Location: CBS, Denmark
- Research: Independent research under faculty supervision, participation in international conferences, and an opportunity for a visiting research stay.
- Teaching: 416 work hours over three years.
- Salary: DKK 28,993 to DKK 35,015 per month, with a 17.1% pension contribution.
