The Helmut Veith Scholarship at TU Wien supports outstanding female students pursuing a master’s degree in computer science in Europe. This fully funded scholarship promotes gender equality in technology and honors the late computer scientist Helmut Veith. It covers full tuition fees and provides an annual stipend of EUR 7,000 for eligible students enrolling in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Exclusively for female students
- Must meet admission requirements for an English-taught master’s program at TU Wien
- Eligible programs include Data Science, Business Informatics, Computer Engineering, Media and Human-Centered Computing, Software Engineering and Internet Computing, and Logic and Computation
- Holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or a related field
- Strong background in mathematics and technology with an interest in research areas such as Computer Security, Formal Methods and Verification, AI Foundations, Algorithms and Complexity Theory, or Logic in Computer Science
- Proficiency in English
