The Luiss Mediterranean Platform at Luiss School of Government (Rome, Italy), in collaboration with the Italian Embassy in Tripoli and the Government Communication Center, invites you to apply for the ‘Reporting for Peace in Libya’ Training Program, a comprehensive initiative designed to build capacity in post-conflict journalism, ethical reporting, and investigative techniques
This training program is designed to equip Libyan journalists and bloggers with the skills needed to report ethically and constructively in a post-conflict environment. Given Libya’s complex media landscape, the initiative focuses on promoting responsible journalism that fosters peace and reconciliation.
Program Structure:
- Online Seminars: Covering media ethics, countering misinformation, data-driven journalism, and conflict analysis.
- Three-Day Workshop in Rome: Focused on investigative journalism, multimedia storytelling, and strategies for reporting on sensitive conflict-related issues.
Objective:
The program aims to empower journalists to challenge divisive narratives, counter misinformation, and contribute to public discourse that supports lasting peace in Libya.

Eligibility:
• Libyan citizenship
• Age: 25 years or older
• Experience in journalism or media-related fields
• Active participation and commitment
