
Jusoor Scholarship is designed to support Syrian and Palestinian students from Syria who have been awarded full tuition and partial living expenses scholarships at top universities in North America or Europe. Jusoor aims to fill the funding gap for travel expenses (visa, flight, healthcare fees).
Eligibility Criteria:
- Be Syrian or Palestinian from Syria (holding a Syrian passport, Syrian national ID, or Palestinian travel papers).
- Have a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Show leadership and community engagement through volunteer or work experience.
- Demonstrate a commitment to rebuilding Syria and being active in Jusoor’s community.
- Currently live in Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Turkey, Egypt, or Iraq.
- Be admitted to a university ranked:
- Top 200 in the US (Times Higher Education)
- Top 20 in Canada (Times Higher Education)
- Top 50 in the UK (Times Higher Education)
- Top 100 in Europe (Times Higher Education)
- Have received a full tuition and living expenses scholarship from their university.
- Not be government-sponsored by any country.
Funding Coverage:
- Covers visa, flight, and healthcare fees.
- Does not cover transportation or accommodation in either the home or destination country.

Application Deadline: Rolling basis (earlier applications receive decisions sooner).
Interview Process:
Shortlisted candidates will have a 45-minute to 1-hour virtual interview in English. They will be asked about:
- Their academic and career goals.
- How they would contribute to Jusoor’s mission.
- Their ability to handle real-life challenges as a scholar.
Important Notes:
- Only one Jusoor scholarship application is allowed.
- AI-generated applications will be penalized (Jusoor uses OpenAI Text Detector).
- Scholars must maintain good academic standing and be active in Jusoor’s community.
- Recipients cannot represent any government or engage in activities that may harm Jusoor’s reputation.
