The Atlantic Council’s Rafik Hariri Center & Middle East Programs is seeking a motivated intern to support administrative and programmatic activities. This on-site, paid internship ($18/hour) provides hands-on experience in international relations, foreign policy, and regional security.
Responsibilities
- Support event planning, including roundtables and webinars.
- Assist in communications efforts, such as social media, newsletters, and media tracking.
- Maintain program contacts and files.
- Conduct research for center initiatives and personal projects.
- Participate in team meetings and organizational activities.
Qualifications
- Must be at least a college junior, a graduate student, or a recent graduate.
- Strong organizational, communication, and research skills.
- Experience in event planning, social media, or communications is preferred.
- Knowledge of Middle East and North Africa (MENA) issues is an advantage.
- Proficiency in a regional language (Arabic, Persian, French, Kurdish, or Hebrew) is a plus.
