These matchmaking sessions aim to help stakeholders transform innovative ideas into concrete projects through structured discussions and negotiations.
Objectives & Scope
The Call for Proposals seeks innovative solutions from UfM member countries in:
- Renewable Energy (solar, wind, green hydrogen)
- Climate Resilience (water management, agriculture, urban cooling)
- Sustainable Infrastructure (smart cities, low-carbon transport)
- Integrated Energy-Water Solutions (desalination, energy efficiency)
Eligibility:
- Project developers (entrepreneurs, startups, companies)
- Investors & funders (IFIs, private investors, development agencies)
- Public & private organizations (government institutions, research institutions, NGOs)

2. Elevator Pitches for Young Entrepreneurs
A platform for youth-led innovation in green energy and climate resilience, providing an opportunity for young entrepreneurs (aged 18-35) to present their startups to investors and industry leaders.
Program Highlights
- Pitch Presentations: 2–3-minute pitches followed by a Q&A session with international experts
- Capacity Building: Mentorship to refine pitches and business models
- Networking Opportunities: Engage with investors and regional organizations
