MENA Rights Group is a Geneva-based legal advocacy NGO dedicated to protecting and promoting fundamental rights and freedoms in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA). The organization provides legal counseling to victims of human rights violations, engages with international law mechanisms, and advocates for legal and policy reform.

Role Description:

MENA Rights Group seeks volunteer translators to help translate materials from English and/or French into Arabic. These materials may include:

  • Briefing papers
  • Case profiles
  • Press releases
  • Reports on human rights issues in the MENA region

This role is ideal for students, recent graduates, or young professionals interested in translation, international human rights, and legal advocacy. Translations will be published on the MENA Rights Group website.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Fluency in written English and/or French
  • Strong Arabic writing and editing skills
  • Degree or diploma in translation or languages (preferred but not required)
  • Interest in human rights in the MENA region (a plus)
