
EuroMed Rights is a network of civil society organizations promoting human rights across Europe and the Mediterranean. The Majalat II project focuses on advocacy, capacity-building, and mobilization of key actors for fundamental rights protection.
Job Description
The Project Support Officer will assist with monitoring & evaluation (M&E), advocacy, communication, and logistical coordination for the Majalat II project.
Key Responsibilities
1. Reporting & M&E Support
- Assist in data collection for donor reports.
- Support drafting narrative and financial reports.
- Track indicators and analyze activities.
- Prepare event reports and policy briefs.
2. Advocacy Support
- Conduct political and legislative monitoring.
- Track advocacy objectives and identify opportunities.
- Provide logistical and administrative support for advocacy missions.
- Assist in drafting recommendations and mission reports.
3. Communication Support
- Contribute to the project’s communication strategy.
- Help update the website and social media.
- Create and disseminate content (articles, visuals, reports).
- Assist in translation and media outreach.
4. Coordination & Logistics Support
- Assist in organizing events and meetings.
- Take meeting minutes and coordinate follow-ups.
- Support project partners with logistical needs.
Candidate Profile
- At least 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferably in NGOs or donor-funded projects).
- Excellent writing skills in French and English (Arabic is an asset).
- Strong understanding of human rights and civil society in the Southern Neighborhood region.
- Proficiency in MS Office and digital tools (web content management, collaborative platforms).
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
- Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
