The KAAD Scholarship 2025-26 in Germany is a fully funded opportunity for international students from developing countries pursuing Master’s and PhD degrees at German universities. Sponsored by the Catholic Academic Exchange Service (KAAD), this scholarship supports students committed to social and economic development in their home countries.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Must be a citizen and resident of a developing country in Asia, Africa, the Middle East, or Latin America.
  • Must hold a university degree and professional experience in their home country.
  • Must be applying for a Master’s, PhD, or a postdoctoral research stay (2-6 months) in Germany.
  • Applicants from the Near and Middle East should be of the Catholic or Christian denomination. Other religious backgrounds may be considered if recommended by Catholic partners.
  • German language proficiency is required before enrollment (KAAD may offer up to six months of German language courses for selected candidates).
