The University of Sheffield is offering one fully funded postgraduate taught scholarship for a student from Gaza in 2025.
Scholarship Benefits:
- Full tuition fee coverage
- Accommodation in a single en-suite room in University halls
- £5,000 maintenance award
Eligibility Criteria:
- Must be a citizen of Gaza or have been a resident prior to the October 2023 conflict escalation
- Must be self-funding and classified as overseas for tuition fees
- Must hold a conditional or unconditional offer for a one-year, full-time postgraduate taught master’s course starting in September 2025
Important Notes:
- Distance learning and part-time programs are not eligible
- Cannot be combined with other scholarships, discounts, or rewards from the university
- Applicants who left Gaza due to the conflict can apply but must provide evidence of prior residency
- Scholarship funds will only be released once the student arrives in Sheffield and completes registration

- Obtain an offer for a postgraduate course at the University of Sheffield
- Access the scholarship application form (may take up to 24 hours after receiving the offer)
- Submit the application by 1 PM (UK time) on Tuesday, May 27, 2025
