Role Overview:
The Young Professionals (YP) Program Coordinator is responsible for managing all aspects of the Bank’s prestigious YP Program, including recruitment, rotation management, performance evaluations, development planning, and post-program transitions. The role supports both program participants and Bank leadership to ensure the YP Program aligns with organizational needs and contributes to long-term talent pipelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the full YP Program cycle: recruitment, rotation, learning, and post-program placement
- Lead recruitment campaigns, evaluations, and onboarding with internal teams and external search firms
- Implement training, language courses, mentorship, and development initiatives
- Provide career advisory and coaching support to YPs
- Design and track career paths for YPs beyond the program
- Prepare program reports, including an annual review for senior management
- Support related HR programs (internships, technical assistance, junior professionals, etc.)
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in HR, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 5 years of experience in project or HR program management within multicultural settings
- Strong communication, advisory, and coordination skills
- Bilingual fluency in English or French with working knowledge of the other
- Familiarity with AfDB software tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
