The Singapore International Graduate Award (SINGA) is a prestigious, bond-free award offered to international students with excellent academic results at the undergraduate and/or master’s level, and a strong interest in conducting research leading to a doctorate (PhD) or Engineering Doctorate (EngD) in Science and Engineering.
This is a collaboration between:
- Agency for Science, Technology & Research (A*STAR)
- Nanyang Technological University (NTU)
- National University of Singapore (NUS)
- Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD)
- Singapore Management University (SMU)
- Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT)

Through SINGA, students can undertake their PhD or EngD training at an A*STAR research institute, NTU, NUS, SUTD, SMU, or SIT. Upon successful completion, they will be conferred a degree by the respective university.
