Indigenous representatives who:
- Have significant experience in world heritage and Indigenous rights
- Are familiar with the World Heritage Committee’s work
- Represent a non-governmental or non-profit organization
- Are committed to Indigenous heritage protection
What’s Provided:
- Funding to cover travel, accommodation, and daily expenses
- Support is conditional on observer status approval by UNESCO
Required Documents:
- Completed application form (in English, French, or Spanish)
- Motivation statement
- CV
- Letter of nomination/recommendation from an Indigenous or non-profit organization
- Proof of submission of observer status request to UNESCO
