The YFP is a fully funded, cross-cultural fellowship designed to empower the next generation of water diplomats in the Middle East. It blends online learning, in-person field visits, and expert mentorship to build capacity in transboundary water cooperation and the Water-Energy-Food-Ecosystems (WEFE) Nexus.
What Fellows Will Experience:
- Immersive field visits across Jordan and Türkiye
- Professional mentorship from water diplomacy experts
- Engagement in collaborative, real-world projects
- Cross-border dialogue and networking
- Certification and selection as Blue Peace ME Youth Ambassadors upon completion
Ideal Candidates:
Young professionals from Blue Peace Middle East countries with a passion for sustainable water cooperation, regional peacebuilding, and innovative solutions to water challenges.
Must be a citizen of one of the Blue Peace ME countries (Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Syria, and Türkiye).
