Hunter College at City University of New York (CUNY) is hiring two tenure-track professors as part of a Palestinian Studies cluster—one in the social sciences and one in the humanities.
Departments may include:
- Social Sciences: Anthropology, History, Sociology, Political Science, Women’s & Gender Studies
- Humanities: Art & Art History, Classics/Arabic, English, Film & Media Studies, Music
Qualifications:
- PhD (or MFA for artists) in relevant field
- Evidence of publication or artistic record
- Strong teaching and mentorship skills
Duties:
- Research, teaching, and departmental service
- Development of innovative, critical, and publicly engaged work
- Contribution to a diverse and dynamic academic community
Salary Range:
- Assistant: $82,928 – $99,532
- Associate: $100,329 – $117,805
- Full Professor: $119,995 – $141,858
