The McCall MacBain Scholarships at McGill University are about developing purpose-driven leaders, not just providing financial aid. The program supports students pursuing a funded master’s or second-entry professional undergraduate program at McGill, while engaging them in a comprehensive leadership development experience.

The McCall MacBain Scholarship is a full scholarship for your master’s or professional studies. Applications open June 1, 2025 for the 2026 cohort. Students and graduates of Canadian and U.S. universities, as well as Canadians abroad, must apply by September 24. All other applicants must apply by August 20.

Key Features:

  • Full funding of tuition and fees
  • $2,300 monthly living stipend
  • One-time relocation grant to move to Montréal
  • Up to $5,000 for summer initiatives
  • French language training (all levels)

Leadership Development:

  • Bi-weekly seminars, summer retreats, workshops, and field trips
  • Topics include public speaking, crisis communication, entrepreneurial leadership, and strategic planning
  • Engagement with Indigenous knowledge and cultures
  • Place-based learning trips across Canada in the second year
