Applications are now open for the KWI International Fellowship 2026, a fully funded six-month research program hosted by the Kulturwissenschaftliches Institut (KWI) in Essen, Germany. The fellowship runs from April 1 to September 30, 2026, and is designed to support exceptional early-career researchers in the social sciences, humanities, and cultural studies.

Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must hold a PhD and have no more than six years of postdoctoral experience.
- Open to scholars from any country.
- German nationals may apply only if they are currently affiliated with an institution outside Germany.
- Research proposals must align with KWI’s current research themes.
