The Yale Emerging Climate Leaders Fellowship is a prestigious five-month program hosted by the Yale Jackson School of Global Affairs. Designed to empower professionals from the Global South, the fellowship focuses on building a global network of next-generation leaders working to promote clean energy and climate solutions.
The fellowship includes two fully funded, in-person sessions—one at Yale University in the United States and the other in Paris, France—along with virtual engagements in between.
Eligibility Criteria:
Applicants must meet the following requirements:
- Nationality: Be a citizen of a developing country in the Global South (Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America, or the Caribbean)
- Language: Fluent in English
- Experience: Have 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience with a strong record of achievement
- Age: No age limit
- Participation: Must commit to attending all virtual sessions and both in-person sessions
- Eligible Fields: Public service, civil society, energy, law, finance, research, education, journalism, entrepreneurship, and policymaking
