Mada Masr is hiring a Director to lead its growing Editorial Services unit, which provides editorial and production expertise to research centers, academia, cultural, and arts institutions. The role combines business development, client relationship management, and production oversight, contributing to Mada’s mission of building a sustainable independent media model.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business development and secure new partnerships.
- Manage the full client lifecycle and expand the partner network.
- Oversee project design, budgeting, and tailored production processes.
- Guide strategy, set sales goals, and supervise team and freelancers.
- Work closely with creative leads to deliver high-quality editorial and production outputs.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of project management (3+ in senior leadership in content production/publishing).
- Strong background in client relationship management and budget oversight.
- Strategic thinker with analytical and market research skills.
- Excellent English and Arabic writing, especially in proposals.
- Experience in media, cultural, or arts organizations preferred.
- Leadership, mentorship, and team management experience.
