Google is inviting applications for its PhD Research Scientist Internship 2026, a full-time 13–17 week summer program starting in May, June, or July 2026. Interns will work on cutting-edge projects in AI, machine learning, NLP, computer vision, optimization, multimodal systems, and large-scale data challenges, alongside leading experts at Google.

Eligibility
- PhD student in Computer Science or related technical field within the EMEA region
- In the final or penultimate year of study
- Expertise in one or more areas: NLP, ML, LLMs, Computer Vision, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, Optimization, Data Mining, Image/Audio Processing
- Prior research experience (labs, projects, internships, publications)
- Skilled in at least one language: Java, C++, Python, or Go (extra tools like MATLAB, JAX are a plus)
- Available for 13–17 weeks between May–July 2026
