The University of Toronto, in partnership with the Africa Health Collaborative, is inviting applications for the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program 2026–2027. This fully funded Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) scholarship supports outstanding African graduates committed to driving public health and community development across the continent.

Eligibility

  • Citizen and resident of a Sub-Saharan African country
  • Graduate of an Africa Health Collaborative partner institution
  • No prior enrollment in doctoral-level coursework
  • Proven record of academic excellence and leadership
  • Must meet academic entry requirements for the DrPH program
  • Strong commitment to return home for the final two years to contribute to social and economic development
