The roles also involve contributing to the new migration programmes managed from Copenhagen.

Successful candidates can expect diverse responsibilities that span political, economic, and geopolitical work — with opportunities to help shape Denmark’s engagement in Egypt and the wider region.

The Embassy values teamwork, trust, transparency, and open communication, with staff working closely across the Political, Trade, and Migration teams. In return, employees benefit from a flexible Danish work culture that emphasizes work-life balance, collaboration, and professional development.

  • Knowledge of Danish and regional politics and economies.
  • Familiarity with climate change, renewable energy, and energy transition issues.
  • Experience with development projects, financing institutions, or public-private partnerships.
