The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) in Syria are inviting qualified national professionals to apply for five exciting positions across various field offices and the Country Office in Damascus.

Available Positions

1. Technical Officer – Social Development (NPSA)

Support UNDP’s social development and gender programming, working closely with the Gender Equality Unit to advance inclusion and empowerment across communities.

2. Technical Officer – Basic Services & Infrastructure Rehabilitation (NPSA)

Play a key role in restoring essential services and rehabilitating local infrastructure to ensure communities regain access to health, water, and education facilities.

3. National Information Management Officer (NOA) – UN OCHA Syria

Lead and support information management activities, coordinating with sector IMOs and partners to collect, analyze, and share humanitarian data that drives effective decision-making.

4. National Information Management Officer (NOA) – OCHA Country Office

Contribute to evidence-based humanitarian programming by managing data collection, storage, and analysis to strengthen OCHA Syria’s strategic response.

5. National Humanitarian Affairs Officer (Access) (NOA)

Collaborate with OCHA management, UNDSS, NGOs, and UN agencies to ensure humanitarian access and safety for operations reaching those most in need.
