The Young Trade Leaders Programme, organized by the WTO, seeks to engage young individuals (ages 18-28) with a strong interest in international trade. The program aims to build a global network of young leaders who understand the benefits of trade and contribute new perspectives to the WTO’s work.
Benefits for Selected Participants:
- Gain insights into the WTO and international trade.
- Publish articles, blogs, podcasts, and social media content on trade topics.
- Participate in a one-day training session at the WTO headquarters in Geneva.
- Coordinate a session at the WTO’s annual Public Forum.
- Access WTO training programs and mentoring from WTO Secretariat members.
- Receive support for organizing WTO-related activities in their home countries.
Application Details:
- Selection is for a one-year term.
- Applications for the 2025 programme close on May 2, 2025 (23:59 CET).
- Selected participants will not receive financial remuneration but will be invited to Geneva for the WTO Public Forum in September 2025.
