Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Analysis: Conduct political, economic, and media research and report findings.
  • Translation & Reporting: Translate key documents and report on meetings.
  • Public Diplomacy & Events: Manage digital communications and organize embassy events.
  • Project & Grants Management: Oversee embassy projects, including the small grants program.
  • Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Administrative Support: Assist with embassy administration and social media outreach.

Essential Requirements

  • Legal right to work in Egypt (Permanent residency required).
  • Bilingual in English & Arabic (Language test may be conducted).
  • Degree in Politics, Economics, International Affairs, Diplomacy, or Project Management.
  • Professional experience in a similar role.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Knowledge of the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and the Embassy of Ireland’s role.
  • Experience in a diplomatic mission (preferred but not required).
  • Project management and event organization experience.
