Key Responsibilities
- Research & Analysis: Conduct political, economic, and media research and report findings.
- Translation & Reporting: Translate key documents and report on meetings.
- Public Diplomacy & Events: Manage digital communications and organize embassy events.
- Project & Grants Management: Oversee embassy projects, including the small grants program.
- Networking: Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Administrative Support: Assist with embassy administration and social media outreach.
Essential Requirements
- Legal right to work in Egypt (Permanent residency required).
- Bilingual in English & Arabic (Language test may be conducted).
- Degree in Politics, Economics, International Affairs, Diplomacy, or Project Management.
- Professional experience in a similar role.
- Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and ability to multitask.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
Desirable Skills & Experience
- Knowledge of the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and the Embassy of Ireland’s role.
- Experience in a diplomatic mission (preferred but not required).
- Project management and event organization experience.
