About the Programme
Hakayna is a six-week intensive creative writing programme designed for Palestinians around the globe who want to take their storytelling to a professional level. It offers guided mentorship from Palestinian writers, editors, and publishers, focusing on sharpening craft, building literary community, and preparing participants’ work for publication.

Eligibility
Applicants must:
- Be 18+ and identify as Palestinian (anywhere in the world).
- Write fiction or non-fiction in English.
- Be committed to publishing their work.
- Have strong English writing and communication skills.
- Commit 4–6 hours/week (sessions + writing/reading).
- Have reliable internet.
- Be open to collaboration, feedback, and dialogue.
Application Requirements
- Short CV (150–200 words).
- Motivation video (2 minutes).
- Writing sample or pitch (250–750 words).
