The Doha Institute for Graduate Studies (DI) has officially opened applications for its master’s and doctoral programs for the academic year 2026–2027. Students from Qatar and around the world are invited to apply through the online portal, which is available from 1 September 2025 until 15 January 2026. The new academic year will begin in August 2026.
Academic Programs & Languages
DI offers a wide range of graduate-level programs in the fields of social sciences, humanities, economics, public administration, and development studies, among others.
- Programs are taught in Arabic and/or English, depending on the field.
- Applicants must hold a recognized bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) and meet the specific entry requirements of their chosen program.
- Proof of English language proficiency is required unless exempt.
All documents must be submitted in Arabic or English. Applicants submitting documents in other languages must provide official translations.
Scholarships & Financial Support
The Doha Institute provides a variety of scholarships to support both Qatari and international students.
- Funding may cover tuition fees, living expenses, and other costs depending on the award.
- International students admitted to DI may also bring their family members during the study period, subject to Qatari visa regulations.
